Eco Friendly Puppy Pads

As our first step of our eco friendly initiative, we at doggypads have implemented a strict policy of using recycled post-consumer materials for our packaging we hope with the help of our consumers we can close the loop yet again by having our consumers recycle the used product.

Doggypads is actively researching and developing Bioplastics which will replace the plastic (PET) Puppy wee pad backing currently the standard in the pet pad industry. Being that plastic generally is on a one-way trip to a landfill site. Our appetite for non biodegradable plastics be it bottled drinking water, or plastic liners for training pads is rising globally. Recycling has been slow to take off globally, a better solution is Bioplastics. Plastic made from sugar and vegetable oil is no longer a dream, but a growing part of the chemicals industry.

We have taken note, not only is bioplastic based doggypads better for the environment, but consumers like it too, Doggypads is actively working to make the first bioplastics training pads. Utilizing a renewable resource that's biodegradable a top priority.

We want to give our consumers the ability to reduce, re-use and recycle without changing any of their habits or routines, thereby empowering our consumers to effect global change, in effect becoming better global citizens (without sacrifice). Farmers and the agricultural feedstock industry have a strong expectation that bioplastics will become an important outlet for their non-food agri-products.
